 Nationwide was established
in 1984 by Ray Doherty on
the foundation of superior
service. Our roots were in
the crating industry, and as
consumers, we expected no
less than superior service
from our nail vendor.
Nationwide has been there as
a customer, so we know first
hand that customers want
solutions not excuses. It
was on these premises that
Nationwide was built.
Our home office is in
Houston, Texas, and we
continue to grow with three
other Texas locations
serving areas from the Rio
Grande Valley to the College
Station. These branches are
located in McAllen, Corpus
Christi, and College
Station.
We operate a fleet of 10
vans to ensure our
customer’s needs are met
while on the job. We deliver
expert knowledge,
professional service, and
quality products to
construction sites in the
inner city and surrounding
neighborhood.
In addition, Nationwide’s
home office in Houston is a
17,000 sq. ft. facility
geared to serve our walk-in
customers on a fast and
personal level. We pride
ourselves on being a
one-stop contractor’s supply
house offering products
ranging from nails and
staples to a complete line
of industrial strength power
tools. Our reputation for
outstanding service has
built a strong loyal
customer base.
Nationwide is currently
managed by the second
generation of Doherty’s and
is dedicated to serving our
